Stem cell microencapsulation maintains stemness in inflammatory microenvironment
文献摘要:
INTRODUCTION Tissue repair following physical injury or microbial infection is a complex and tightly regulated process involving a dynamic inflammatory microenvironment, which consists of various inflam-matory molecules such as cytokines, proteases, and chemokines in the early stage, and shifts to an anti-inflammatory microenviron-ment to restore endogenous tissue repair and regeneration in the later stage.1 Under normal physiological conditions, the inflamma-tory response is classically recognized as an essential step in maintaining tissue homeostasis under a variety of deleterious conditions.
