GenomeSyn:a bioinformatics tool for visualizing genome synteny and structural variations
文献摘要:
Advances in the next-generation and long-read sequencing tech-nologies have promoted the development of genome-wide compar-ative genomics analysis, and constructing pangenomes and identifying structural variations(SVs)are becoming the frontier of ge-nomics.Comparative genomics is of critical importance for deter-mining the gene function and the evolutionary basis of traits.Synteny analysis is an essential component of comparative geno-mics.However,it is still very difficult to quickly identify and genotype SVs among different genomes. In this study,we developed a simple-to-use tool to quickly compare and visualize the genetic diversity of different species, especially the visualization of intraspecies synteny.
