Lanthanide single-molecule magnets with high anisotropy barrier:where to from here?

Lanthanide complexes with magnetic hysteresis known as lanthanide single-molecule magnets(Ln-SMMs)are promising candidates for high-density information storage and quantum tech-nologies.Due to the predominantly electrostatic nature of 4f-ligand inter-actions,the coordination geometry of lanthanide complexes is contingent upon the steric constraints.
