On November 4th, 2022, Giant Biogene Holding Co., Ltd went public in Hong Kong Stock Exchange and became the first listed company in the field of China's recombinant collagen protein. According to the prospectus, Giant Biogene Holding Co., Ltd achieved a revenue of 723 million yuan in the first five months of 2022. In 2021, it gained a revenue of 1.552 billion yuan, achieving an increase of 30.42% and 53.3%. The revenue mainly came from the contributions of eight major brands such as Comfy and COLLGENE. Among them, Comfy is expected to become the first brand with over a revenue of 1 billion yuan affiliated to Giant Biogene. At the end of 2021, Giant Biogene wrapped up the first round fundraising prior to IPO, which was also the only round of financing. The value estimation reached almost 20 billion yuan. It only took half a year for Giant Biogene to get listed. In five years to come, Giant Biogene would invest 1.5 billion yuan to expand productivity.
