"Star of Asia" Japan and its remarkable local brands

FIFA World Cup 2022 has already delivered some fantas-tic matches and unexpected results. This includes Japan's 2-1 win over Germany, in which Japan scored two back-to-back goals in the second half to pull off an impressive comeback. Japanese players' sneakers have also attracted attention. Un-like other teams, 26.9 percent of the Japanese players chose Japanese shoes, 19.2 percent of the players, including Ao Tanaka who helped the team complete the comeback in group matches, chose Mizuno, and 7.7 percent chose ASICS.
