Journal's responsibility in maintaining scientific integrity

Scientific integrity has been regarded as a priority in scien-tific development in China [1].The Chinese governmental agencies have paid unprecedented attentions on promoting scientific integrity in recent years.In May 2018,the Com-munist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council issued guidelines on promoting scientific integrity[2].Ever-harsher punishments for researchers who commit-ting scientific misconduct were introduced by the Chinese government [3].In November,2018,43 penalties for major academic misconduct were endorsed by 41 national gov-ernment agencies.Meanwhile,the Ministry of Science and Technology of China (MOST) were established a notifica-tion system for reporting cases involving in scientific mis-conduct and the related penalties publicly.
