Workshop on the standardization of microchips

In 2020, one trillion microchips were manufactured around the world. This technology has grown as a strategic field for Europe to take leadership in its future digitalization. Following the European Chips Act, the European Commission has established the need for microchips to be the foundation for emerging technologies to rise in Europe (e.g. highly automated cars, cloud, IoT, connectivity, space, defence and supercomputers).
