Shiseido released growth plan in China

On November 15th, 2022, Shiseido released its brand-new growth plan at a Chinese news conference in its 150th anniversary, which mainly included the upgrading of the existing mature brands, seizing opportunities with new brands, promoting local innovation with more investment and facilitating green development with "alternative products". In years to come, Shiseido will continue to invest and build its second largest global research and development hub in China. It sustains to strengthen the study on the skin of Chinese consumers and incubate the local innovation involving medical cosmetology and oral cosmetology. Shiseido is the first international cosmetics group entering Chinese market; it is the first international beauty group which established research and development center in China; it is also the first international beauty group setting up the special investment fund in China. After 41 years, Shiseido China has successfully operated 26 brands.
