Research and Development of Skincare Products Based on the Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine
文献摘要:
The application of traditional Chinese medicine in skincare formula development was expounded from the views of "symptom, theory, method, prescription, medicine and effect". Traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions were improved according to the laws and regulations for China's cosmetic industry and by the modern scientific and technological means, which had important guiding significance for the research and development of plant-based functional skincare products. The problems in concept claim and quality control standard, and the problems of market confusion, which were ascribed to the lack of basic research in the application of Chinese herbal cosmetics, were pointed out. The future development direction of plant-based functional cosmetics guided by TCM theory was prospected.
