Case Report of Acute Peritonitis with Blood Infection of Neisseria meningitidis
文献摘要:
Neisseria meningitidis (N. meningtitidis) is a gram negative diplococcus. Neisseria meningitidis (meningococcus) was first identified in the cerebrospinal fluid of a patient with meningitis in 1887 by Weichselbaum, and the epidemic was traced back to 1805[1]. The serogroups A, B, C, W, X, and Y were the most frequent causes of meningococcal diseased[1]. N. meningitidis usually colonizes the human nasopharynx[2].
