Recent Progress on Electrocatalytic Valorization of Biomass-Derived Organics

1.Introduction
The transition of the existing energy production and consumption structure from excessive dependence on fossil energy to efficient utiliza-tion of renewable energy is an effective way to solve the energy prob-lem and achieve carbon neutrality.Biomass is one of the most promising renewable energy sources since it is a potential organic car-bon source that can replace fossil fuels and be used for producing potentially valuable organic compounds.
