Full-Page Interview with CIIS President Published on Italian Mainstream Newspaper
文献摘要：
On May 14, a special interview with CIIS President Xu Bu was published full-page on La Verità, a mainstream newspaper in Italy. In the interview, Xu elaborated on China's position on the Ukraine situation, the role of the United States and NATO in the crisis, and the impact of the crisis on China-Russia relations and China's economy. According to Xu, despite the slow progress on peace talks between Russia and Ukraine, it is still the only feasible way to avoid the escalation of the crisis, and all countries on the side of peace and development should oppose the Cold War mentality and bloc confrontation. China is committed to working with the international community to create a new type of international relations based on mutual respect, fairness, justice and win-win cooperation.
