CNPC's High-quality Development in Central Asian Oil and Gas Cooperation

C NPC started its oil and gas cooperation in Central Asia with the acquisition of the Aktobe MunaiGas Project in June 1997.Through more than 20 years of hard work,CNPC has developed from one project(the Aktobe Project mentioned above)to 24 oil and gas inves tment projects in seven countries,formed a complete upstream,midstream and downstream business chain integrating oil and gas exploration and development,pipeline construction and operation,engineering and technical services and oil refining and sales,and established a corporate management structure and control system in accordance with the local laws and regulations.In doing so,it has effectively promoted the modernization of the oil industry in resource countries and achieved a winwin situation in which the company grows hand in hand with the socioeconomic development of Central Asian countries.
