The Carbon Neutrality Vision Accelerates the Evolution of the Global Oil and Gas Trade Pattern

The carbon neutrality vision is accelerating the energy transition Energy plays an important role in supporting global economic growth and transformation, and they have been highly correlated with each other for many years. Currently, the world has entered a phase dominated by fossil energy consumption, and the total consumption of oil and natural gas accounts for more than 50%. Fossil energy consumption is the main cause of global warming. Since the Industrial Revolution, the average global temperature has risen by about 2.5oC from its level 12,000 years ago. Climate change has caused the melting of the polar ice caps, the rise of sea levels and more frequent catastrophic weather events. It has become the common goal of all mankind to reduce carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and limit the global temperature rise.
